  • Creation of a community space, which includes much-needed child-care facilities and event venue
  • Scholarships and emergency funds for mothers in need

With over a decade of extensive event industry experience and over 5 years as a writer in digital media, Tanya decided to combine all those under one umbrella to create Hayles Creative Elements.

An event planner by trade and at heart, her goal has been to bring her client’s visions to life. Event planning is like storytelling in 3D, with lights, food, décor – engaging all the senses.

While writing started as a side-hustle, it has now become an outlet where she can connect with readers by sharing stories, experiences and opinions through blogging and other platforms which include Blavity, Today’s Parent, Teen Vogue, HuffPost and more.

Like so many of professionals today, she is many things to many people. A mother, a business woman, an influencer, a social architect —but to summarize, she more than anything, a creative here to serve how she can.

Tanya does speaking engagements to conferences, groups, workshops and events on building an online community and diversity in online spaces. For speaking inquiries, please email info@blackmomsconnection.com subject line: speaking request
